Mecc Alte Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)- UVR6
The UVR6 serves as an analog automatic voltage regulator present in all Mecc Alte AC alternators, commonly utilized in conjunction with diesel engines to generate diesel-powered generators. Employing technology akin to the smaller SR7, the UVR6 is versatile, accommodating both single-phase and three-phase sensing capabilities.
Built-in Protections of the Mecc Alte UVR6:
The UVR6 comes equipped with Overload and Low-Speed protection mechanisms. LEDs incorporated within the AVR illuminate when these protective systems are activated. Additionally, both protections feature adjustable parameters. The Overload protection incorporates a built-in delay, enhancing the alternator’s ability to accommodate motor starting scenarios.
